While ECE admission is accessible, Academic Upgrading can be helpful if you:
Direct entry is possible for many, but if you’re missing English, Math, or if your transcript is outdated/international, you may be asked to complete Academic Upgrading or an admissions test before admission.
If you don’t have Grade 12 English or equivalent, you’ll need upgrading. Admissions staff can confirm through transcript review or an assessment test.
Apply during Grade 12 if unsure about marks, or as a mature student at any time. Many colleges have multiple intakes per year for ECE programs.
ECE programs are less competitive than Nursing or Dental Hygiene. Still, aim for:
